My petit Célin1,

The asthma attack is over, only her temperature remains, so I don’t believe it will be necessary to use Uncle’s cure, we’ll use it another time, of course I don’t look down upon it… Thank [1 v°] dear Uncle and Aunt! How good you all are to me! I am very touched!

Farewell my petit Célin. Whenever you wish to give me something I would like some oranges as lovely as last time, our dear Patient enjoys them…

What a fright we had yesterday! She was [2 r°] so sick. Dr. de Cornière said that if the attack had continued it would have been very dangerous. Yesterday she spoke to me as though she was dying, I was heartbroken, I wept! She said that God would help me, that I no longer needed her, that Mother Geneviève would be with me, etc. and gave me her last instructions… imagine how upset I was!

[2 v*] Do pray for me.

Your little sister who cherishes you
