From sr Marie of the Sacred Heart to Céline - March 1892.

Dear little Céline,

your little letter to our Mother was very kind and gave her great pleasure. She is sending you Mother Geneviève’s circular, which will merit another little thank you note. O my petit Célin1, let us try to become saints too, not for our virtues to be published here below, but so that they may be inscribed in the book of life that will solemnly be read by God himself on the last day…

[v°] If you find any scoters, it would bring us great pleasure. Our Mother was very pleased with the lovely fish the other day. Thank you my petit Célin.

On Saturday instead of chops, would you bring a pork foot. As you can see, I’m not afraid of asking you for anything that tempts me.

Your sister who loves you very tenderly

Marie of the Sacred Heart
