From Br. Siméon to sr Geneviève - February 20, 1896.

To Sister St. Geneviève of St. Teresa

Brother Siméon

Director of St. Joseph’s French College

Piazza di Spagna, S. Sebastiano, 3

I consider myself very fortunate to have been able to obtain the Holy Father’s Blessing for your Profession. I have just received it and hasten to send it to you. It will arrive before the 24th.

[v°] Thank you for the precious keepsake you sent me of saintly fellow Martin, who was such a worthy friend of your Saintly Papa. Please remember me to your dear Sister Thérèse of the Child Jesus. Thank her for the prayers she is saying for me. I trust you are joining her in her intentions for me to succeed in carrying out God’s will and to die a holy death. I am 82 years old and am still in charge of a big institution. I need a great deal of Heaven’s help. Allow me to count on your prayers.

Your humble servant

Br. Siméon
